Registered Manager

We are recruiting on behalf of a children’s residential care provider for an experienced Interim Registered Manager to lead an established residential home supporting children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong, hands-on leader who can provide stability, maintain compliance, and support a dedicated staff team during a period of transition.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the home
• Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding and child-centred care
• Maintain compliance with Ofsted regulations and relevant legislation
• Support, motivate and develop the staff team
• Drive positive outcomes for children and young people
• Oversee staffing, performance and operational standards
• Build and maintain positive relationships with external professionals and stakeholders

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager within an Ofsted-regulated children’s home
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding, children’s residential legislation and compliance requirements
• Proven ability to lead and develop residential care teams
• A resilient, proactive and hands-on management style
• Ability to start at short notice
• Experience supporting younger children would be advantageous
