We’re entering an exciting phase of growth at Actalent, expanding our engineering consulting business across Europe and building new Software & Systems Engineering capabilities.
We’re looking for an experienced Solutions Executive who understands complex engineering challenges, enjoys working directly with customers and wants to play a meaningful role in shaping a growing business.
At Actalent, we partner with leading organisations across manufacturing, energy, industrial automation and transportation to solve complex engineering challenges.
With an established engineering services business in EMEA and a strong North American engineering practice to collaborate with, we’re now focused on developing our European capabilities and bringing new engineering solutions to customers.
The Opportunity
- As a SAS Solutions Executive, you’ll play a key role in building our European consulting business, working alongside sales teams to turn complex customer challenges into technically credible, commercially viable engineering solutions.
- This isn’t a traditional sales role. You’ll bring the technical expertise to lead customer discussions, shape solutions and influence how we develop our engineering services offering across EMEA.
You will:
- Lead technical discovery and solution development with customers
- Translate complex engineering requirements into technical solutions, delivery models, statements of work and commercial proposals
- Develop integrated solutions across embedded systems, application development, systems integration and testing
- Partner with sales and business development teams to shape and secure new consulting engagements
- Collaborate with engineering specialists across EMEA and North America, supporting opportunities from initial discovery through to delivery
What Helps You Succeed in This Role
- Broad expertise in Software & Systems Engineering and the engineering development lifecycle
- Experience in technical consulting, solution engineering or complex product development
- Strong understanding of embedded software/hardware, application development and testing
- Proven ability to independently develop technical solutions and commercially viable engineering proposals
- Strong commercial awareness, customer engagement and stakeholder management skills
Bonus if you have experience with:
- Engineering consulting, outsourced engineering services or OEM/product development
- Business Fluent German language skills
