At Oakmead Dental Care, you’ll take the lead of an established five-surgery practice with a fully recruited team, a strong clinical offering and a track record of excellent performance.
An already successful practice
Oakmead has a warm, welcoming atmosphere and a team that genuinely enjoys working together. With 11 clinicians, three hygienists and a dedicated support team, the practice offers a broad range of treatments, including a growing specialist offering. The practice is performing strongly, running ahead of budget and continuing to grow its private revenue. With an established reputation and a fantastic team already in place, you’ll have the foundations to build on rather than starting from scratch.
The opportunity
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee the day-to-day running of the practice, support your team and drive continued success. You’ll focus on:
- Leading and developing your team: Build on the existing positive culture, support colleagues and create an environment where everyone can thrive.
- Driving business performance: Maintain strong financial results, manage costs and identify opportunities to grow private revenue.
- Delivering exceptional patient care: Maintain high standards of patient experience while ensuring the practice operates effectively.
- Building local relationships: Continue developing marketing initiatives, school partnerships and community events to strengthen the practice’s local presence.
- Maintaining high standards: Oversee compliance, operational processes and regulatory responsibilities as the CQC registered manager.

What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for an experienced dental practice manager who knows how to bring out the best in a team while maintaining excellent operational and financial performance.
You’ll be a confident, approachable leader who enjoys developing people, building relationships and creating a positive working environment.
You’ll understand how to balance commercial objectives with exceptional patient care, manage costs effectively and identify opportunities for sustainable growth.
Just as importantly, you’ll recognise the value of an established team. You’ll take the time to listen, build trust and understand the existing culture before making changes.
You’ll also be comfortable taking responsibility for CQC registration, regulatory compliance and maintaining high standards across the practice.
