Security Project Manager – PAM

Overview

In this role you will lead the end-to-end PAM transformation programme to replace CyberArk with a SaaS PAM solution across a large Azure/AWS estate. You will work with security, cloud, audit and compliance to define requirements, governance and deployment strategy. You’ll manage vendor selection, RFPs, POCs and a mass rollout while ensuring regulatory alignment and a secure migration path. This is a hands-on, cross-functional leadership role focused on delivering a scalable, compliant PAM solution that supports a FTSE 100 environment. You’ll be the catalyst for a secure, modern identity and access management capability that aligns with the company’s cloud strategy and governance framework.

Responsibilities

• Discovery and requirements governance for PAM transformation across security, cloud, audit and compliance
• Design and run RFP process, evaluate vendor responses, and lead POCs
• Drive procurement, contract negotiation and vendor onboarding with regulatory alignment
• Oversee solution design (Entra ID integration, connectivity, architecture) and manage pilot and mass rollout
• Define migration readiness, rollback plans, and go/no-go criteria
• Deliver training, runbooks, documentation, and readiness reporting
• Manage stakeholder communications and finalize decommissioning of CyberArk
• Ensure audit evidence, compliance closure, and project handover
