Job Description

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work at a museum site in London.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across building services.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and plumbing faults.
• Maintain HVAC systems, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, generators and heating systems.
• Maintain lighting, three-phase electrical systems, fire alarms, emergency lighting and UPS systems.
• Undertake plumbing repairs, water temperature monitoring and L8-related water hygiene checks.
• Monitor BMS systems, complete plant room inspections and respond to alarms.
• Complete maintenance records, follow RAMS and comply with health and safety procedures.
• Liaise professionally with clients, contractors and site representatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in building maintenance or facilities management.
• City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification or equivalent.
• Proven electrical fault-finding and repair experience.
• Good knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC and plumbing.
• Understanding of PPM schedules, statutory compliance and health and safety.
• Ability to work independently and respond effectively to breakdowns.
• Desirable: 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations, BMS experience, IPAF training and commercial building maintenance experience.
