Overview

As Data Scientist in the Security Data & AI Lab, you will help transform threat detection and mitigation through advanced machine learning in a data-rich security environment. You will collaborate with data engineers, DevOps, and domain experts to deliver actionable insights and integrate solutions via MLOps. You will grow security domain knowledge and demonstrate data science concepts through demos for diverse audiences. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data engineers, DevOps engineers, and domain experts to deliver security solutions across multiple branches
• Convert business problems into data science solutions with internal stakeholders
• Integrate models into existing systems using MLOps and ensure explainability for actionable insights
• Develop both traditional ML and agentic systems and maintain them
• Improve data science understanding via demonstrations and show-and-tell sessions
• Participate in team ceremonies to plan, commit to goals, and manage external dependencies

Key requirements

• Experience delivering data science or analytics projects from problem definition to implementation with measurable business impact
• Solid understanding of machine learning and statistics, including unsupervised models
• Knowledge of foundational model systems and frameworks for building agents
• Proficiency in Python and data science libraries (pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy) and visualization tools
• Strong SQL skills with large datasets; experience with BigQuery, Snowflake, or similar warehouses
• Effective communication to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms and infrastructure
• Strong problem-solving skills and a structured approach to data-driven solutions
