Hybrid Accountant: Local Government Finance & Budgets

Active4Today Ltd in Newark is seeking an Accountant to join our busy Financial Services Team on a permanent basis. The role is 37 hours per week with hybrid working from Castle House, Great North Rd, Newark (NS11).

You will report to the Principal Accountant, set and monitor budgets with HRA Budget Managers, and complete the Council’s VAT return. You will assist with the preparation of the council’s annual Statement of Accounts and support broader Financial Services activities to deliver
