We are currently recruiting 2 Support Workers to to work in a small Supported Living facility located in Ballymena, for our client Praxis Healthcare to work alongside an adult service user with learning disabilities to encourage independence, attend appointments, plan activities, attend day trips, help with meal preparation, house duties and to be part of creating a person centre plan.
The available shift patterns include full-time hours with various shift patterns, such as 8am-8pm, 10am-6pm, 8pm-8am and sleepover shifts available.
Immediate starts available after pre-employment checks have been completed. Pay rate is £13.50 – £17.50, depending on the shift you have worked. Sleepover Rate: £65.00.
This is a temporary ongoing position expected to run a minimum of three months, with a likelihood of extension and possibility of becoming permanent.
Our client would prefer candidates to have completed Safety Intervention Training prior to starting, although,if not First Choice can provide this training course for you
What We Need From You
- 3 months experience in a Healthcare Setting (preferably with Learning Disabilities)
- To be NISCC registered, or willing to apply
- An ability to work evenings and weekend shifts
