Class 3 Registered Building Inspector
£80-£100 per hour – Outside IR35
Location: UK Wide / Remote
Rate: £80 – £100 per hour – Outside IR35
Hours: From 8 to 40+ per week
Key Details
- Competitive rates: £80-£100 engagements, with the lower rates more for 1-2 days/wk & higher for 3-5 days/wk
- Flexible working arrangements: Opportunities ranging from as little as 8, to 40+ hours, with some accommodating purely evening and weekend working (to be worked around existing employment)
- Varied project complexity: Class 3 projects spanning new-build developments, specialist Innovation Unit work, minor works and alterations – jump straight into the Innovation Unit for new build work, or if preferred, stick to the more minor, remediation work.
- Established & emerging clients: Including a newly approved RBCA on the MDT framework offering opportunities within a smaller, well-run organisation.
- Long-term contract stability: We currently support more than 20 RBI’s across our established BSR-related engagements, with excellent retention and continuity – plenty of insight gained from these engagements that we would be more than happy to pass on.
Earning Potential
For those seeking a more substantial workload, a typical 40-hour week at £95 per hour equates to £16,000/month, with additional earning potential for those wishing to undertake further hours.
Equally, opportunities requiring as little as 8 hours/wk provide an attractive option for RBIs looking to supplement their existing income without committing to another full-time role.
Alternatively, this option is very popular for those seeking a way to gain Class 3 project exposure prior to re-registration, when Class 3 projects are no longer available within current employers.
Requirements
- Class 3 Registered Building Inspector status.
- Strong technical knowledge of Building Regulations and relevant legislation.
- Ability to manage workloads independently and maintain high standards of technical compliance.
- Availability for a minimum of 8 hrs/wk
