A fast-growing UK industrial AI company, recognised among the UK’s and Europe’s fastest-growing tech businesses. They build spatial intelligence software that pulls facility models, equipment, engineering drawings and operational workflows into one shared context, so the engineer at a desk and the technician walking the plant are looking at the same truth.
Take a customer problem from discovery to working product capability across the platform, its APIs and the systems it connects to. You own what you ship, including how it behaves after release. The bias is towards reusable features and integrations, not one-off customer hacks.
What you’ll do
- Work with customers and their technical teams to find the real problem and a sensible scope, then ship
- Build reusable features and integrations with proper permissions, auth, data mapping, retries and failure handling
- Own changes through deployment and support: tests, observability, incident diagnosis and recovery
- Use and improve the AI-assisted delivery workflow alongside the Principal Engineer: maintain specs and context, verify generated changes, leave clean handovers
What they’re looking for
- Production software you’ve personally shipped in a coherent stack with APIs, auth and relational data
- Cloud infrastructure, containers and CI/CD, including diagnosing and recovering from a real production issue
- A track record of turning a customer need into a working integration with sound permissions, retries and failure handling
- Heavy use of AI dev tools, with evidence that specs, tests, evals and review improved the result
- You challenge the first solution, explain trade-offs, and own the software after launch
Nice to have
- Enterprise systems, industrial workflows or spatial data
- They care about the scope you’ve owned, not years served or past titles
