Equity Research Associate, Long Short Hedge Fund, London

A leading long/ short hedge fund is now looking to recruit an Equity Research Associate into their team.

The role will join a very successful team of fund managers and analysts who have a superb track record in investing.

The role will work on the following :

• Active Identification of investment opportunities for the fund
• Identification of events which can trigger a gain or loss in value of a stock
• Recommending buy and sell side trades to the Portfolio Managers
• Carrying out detailed financial modelling and analysis of investment opportunities
• Monitoring existing positions
• Active member of the investment team

They are interested in people who will have a background as follows:

• Currently working as an equity research associate with a sell or buy side firm
• Investment banking analysts or associates
