Job Overview

Our superb client based in Cambridge is seeking a Finance Director to join them on a full-time permanent basis working 8.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• The full financial control of the business including budgeting, financial planning and forecasting
• Producing financial accounts and overseeing statutory reporting
• Leadership of the senior Finance members, developing and coaching them, performing 121’s and appraisals.
• Continuous improvement of the financial team and department including systems and processes
• Support business acquisitions and investments
• Working with the senior leadership team to enhance revenue and growth

Qualifications and Experience

• strong financial director level background within a logistics / engineering type industry
• experience of leading a senior finance team
• fully qualified in ACCA / CIMA / ACA or similar
• strong financial acumen
• strong communications skills and the ability to provide financial updates to the senior leadership team
• effective team player
• highly professional
• a great problem solver
