Postdoctoral Fellow: Rabies & Urban Zoonosis History

University of St Andrews seeks a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join an ERC project on Zoonosis Before Bacteriology. The role focuses on the historical study of rabies as a zoonotic disease between 1770 and 1870 across Europe and Argentina, under Professor Christos Lynteris.

The successful candidate will hold a PhD in history or anthropology or be near completion, with a strong background in medical history, anthropology, colonial history, or animal studies.
