Service Manager – Network Management

Overview

As Network Manager, you will lead the highways and transport teams to coordinate network activity, street works, and inspections while safeguarding safety and statutory compliance. You will balance competing demands, shape solutions with utility companies and developers, and drive continuous improvement in network performance. Responsibilities

• Lead network coordination, street works, inspections, and temporary traffic regulation
• Oversee permits, works and events, and monitor network performance
• Engage with utility companies, developers and stakeholders to ensure compliance
• Advise senior managers and elected Members on technical and regulatory issues
• Drive performance, compliance, and continuous improvement across the network
• Manage teams and partnerships across the highway network
• Support delivery of transport priorities and customer-focused services

Key requirements

• Experienced highways and transportation professional with strong leadership skills
• Ability to manage people, services and partnerships across the highway network
