Overview

As a Senior Manager in Delivery Excellence, you shape high-quality client commitments for AI and digital work and translate them into measurable impact. You’ll work across senior case teams and specialists to define delivery approaches, success measures, and risks, while ensuring practical, commercially sound commitments. You’ll influence without formal authority and build repeatable, scalable ways of working across BCG X. This role blends digital delivery, governance, and stakeholder management to drive value for clients and the firm.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured discussions with senior stakeholders on AI, digital, software, and product opportunities
• Clarify objectives, delivery approach, success metrics, resource needs, assumptions, and key risks for opportunities
• Identify delivery, governance, adoption, and value-realization considerations early
• Coordinate input from commercial, technical, product, data, Responsible AI, legal, finance, and delivery specialists
• Translate complex discussions into clear recommendations, decisions, and action plans for stakeholders
• Support teams in shaping practical, deliverable, and commercially sound client commitments
• Help teams test ambitious plans while staying collaborative and service-oriented
• Develop repeatable methods, tools, and guidance to raise delivery excellence across BCG X

Key requirements

• 8-12 years of experience in technology consulting, digital transformation delivery, AI/data product delivery, or related fields
• Experience working with senior stakeholders on complex, ambiguous, high-stakes topics
• Track record in digital, AI, data, software, or technology-enabled transformation work
• Strong understanding of moving ideas to implementation, adoption, and business impact
• Practical technology fluency in AI, GenAI, software delivery, data workflows, integration, governance
• Commercial judgment and awareness of how delivery decisions affect quality and economics
• Strong problem solving, structured thinking, analytical rigor, and comfort with imperfect information
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including summarizing discussions into actionable guidance
• Strong operating discipline managing multiple reviews, stakeholders, deadlines, and follow-ups
