Financial Accountant

Overview

As a Financial Accountant in our Leamington Spa team, you will drive accurate financial reporting and robust controls within a manufacturing context. You will support month-end close, journals, reconciliations, and balance sheet integrity, while delivering insightful management information. You will oversee cash flow, working capital forecasting, and group reporting, contributing to regulatory submissions and audits. Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close processes and ensure accurate financial reporting
• Prepare journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
• Produce management accounts and provide financial insight to support decision-making
• Monitor cash flow, working capital and forecasting activities
• Support group reporting, statutory accounts and regulatory submissions
• Act as a key contact for internal and external audits
• Identify and implement process improvements across finance operations

Key requirements

• ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent
• Must have experience within a manufacturing environment
• Post-qualified experience in industry or a commercial finance role
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability
• Experience with month-end processes, reconciliations and financial controls
• Audit experience would be advantageous
