You will work within a leading contractor’s team to drive commercial performance, risk management and value engineering. Responsibilities

• Oversee groundworks and frame subcontractors on a major commercial site
• Negotiate and manage subcontractors to protect commercial interests
• Prioritise workloads, manage risk and implement value engineering
• Support cost control and commercial reporting on the project
• Collaborate with site and commercial teams to ensure project objectives are met
• Contribute to risk mitigation and value optimization strategies

Key requirements

• Proven track record as a groundworks/civils Quantity Surveyor
• BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Commercially astute with strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage subcontractors effectively
• Excellent IT skills
• Ability to prioritise tasks, manage risk and value engineer
