Restructuring Solicitor

Overview

As a Restructuring & Insolvency Solicitor, you will handle a broad range of non-contentious and transactional matters within a growing national team. You’ll collaborate with corporate, finance and real estate specialists to advise lenders, investors, corporates, and insolvency practitioners on high-value, cross-border deals. This role offers partner support and opportunities to develop client relationships and grow the practice across Manchester and Leeds. You will shape complex matters and contribute to the firm’s expanding presence in the North of England.

Responsibilities

• Advise on non-contentious restructuring and insolvency matters
• Work on high-value domestic and international transactions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (corporate, finance, real estate)
• Develop and manage client relationships and generate new business
• Supervise junior colleagues and manage transactions
• Contribute to growing the practice across Manchester and Leeds

Key requirements

• 8+ years’ PQE in restructuring & insolvency
• Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills
• Experience in non-contentious restructuring and insolvency
• Ability to develop client relationships and generate new business
• Experience managing transactions and supervising junior colleagues
• Commercial approach and strong client care skills
