Procurement Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead subcontracts for MBDA’s Project procurement team, shaping key terms with critical suppliers to enable world‑leading defence capabilities. You partner with suppliers and internal teams to manage lifecycle contracts, focusing on on‑time, on‑cost, on‑quality delivery of high‑value subsystems. You provide commercial guidance, assess risk, and safeguard MBDA’s interests. This role offers cross‑border supplier engagement and hands‑on negotiation within a dynamic defence environment.

Responsibilities

• lead subcontract life cycle management for missiles and missile systems
• negotiate contractual frameworks and terms with suppliers
• provide commercial guidance to internal customers
• manage risk and opportunities to protect MBDA’s interests
• ensure on-time, on-cost, on-quality delivery of sub-systems
• collaborate with technical teams and suppliers across UK, Europe, and potentially internationally
• support delivery of procurement objectives within R&D projects
