Overview
In this role you support both insurance and reinsurance operations, providing analysis and reporting to drive accurate financial data. You will work closely with underwriting and operations to reconcile transactions, prepare journal entries and reports, and assist with cash flow modelling. The position offers exposure to a growing book and opportunities to influence process improvements in a dynamic, hybrid environment. You will contribute to the company’s growth by delivering reliable financial insight and collaborating with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile insurance and reinsurance transactions (premiums, claims, commissions, profit shares)
- Prepare journal entries and bordereaux reconciliations, plus premium and claims reconciliations
- Assist with monthly/quarterly insurance/reinsurance reporting for the growing book
- Support insurance and reinsurance cash flow modelling and analysis
- Ad hoc project work to support process improvements/efficiencies
- Collaborate with underwriting and operations teams to ensure accurate financial data
Key requirements
- Strong background in reinsurance and insurance
- Analytical mindset

- Academic background and professional qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred
- Experience with MGA/MGU delegated authority business preferred
