Flow Controller

Overview

As Flow Controller, you ensure smooth automated production by managing equipment setup, monitoring line throughput, and analyzing bottlenecks. You will work with Operations, Engineering, and Automation teams to keep WCS/PCS in balance, report performance, and drive small- to medium-scale improvements. You’ll test new systems and help optimise box production flows while prioritising safety and cross-functional collaboration. This role combines hands-on operations with data-driven problem solving, in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and verify machine statuses using WCS and PCS to ensure correct setup
• Identify and mitigate conveyor jams and balance box flow
• Analyze line throughput, locate choke points, implement remedial actions
• Coordinate service and support for smooth facility operation
• Provide machine performance reports and analyses
• Assist with testing new systems and driving efficiency improvements
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to address bottlenecks, stock issues, and quality problems

Key requirements

• Proven experience in manufacturing or distribution centre environments
• Proficiency in using computer software and systems
• Problem-solving skills with ability to make rapid decisions in production
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills
