Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager

Overview

In this role you will drive cost management and commercial control on high-value projects from a City of London office. You will contribute to a multidisciplinary consultancy, supporting cladding remediation and other residential, education, healthcare and commercial works. You will be on track to complete the APC towards RICS, blending quantity surveying with project management. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan budgets, tenders and contracts, delivering value and rapid career growth.

Responsibilities

• cost control and financial reporting across the project lifecycle
• prepare cost plans, budgets and tender documentation
• procure contractors and suppliers
• contract administration and meetings/minutes
• tendering and procurement activities
• utilise JCT contract frameworks
• mix of quantity surveying and project management responsibilities

Key requirements

• at least two years post-graduation experience with a consultancy/PQS
• APC towards becoming RICS qualified
• recognised UK qualification in Quantity Surveying (e.g. BSc)
• experience of cost control, contract administration, procurement and tendering
• ability to prepare cost plans and budgets, and procure contractors
• experience with JCT contracts
