Architect (Associate / Associate Director)

Overview

Join a Leeds-based, multi-disciplinary architectural practice with national reach. In this role you will deliver design across sectors while nurturing clients and leading business development. You’ll work in a collaborative Leeds team, with hybrid 3 days in the office and 2 from home, and a pathway toward senior leadership. There is potential for an annual bonus under the Employee Ownership Trust. You’ll help grow the practice through client relationships and strategic projects.

Responsibilities

• deliver architectural design and coordinate technical delivery across varied projects
• build and maintain client relationships with a view to business development
• contribute to the growth and strategic development of the practice
• collaborate within a close-knit Leeds team and support cross-sector projects
• progress toward senior leadership through increased client responsibility
• balance design excellence with commercial and client-facing priorities

Key requirements

• ARB registered architect
• proven track record in design delivery
• strong communicator with client-facing experience
• interest or aptitude for client engagement and business development
• sector experience in education, defence, advanced manufacturing, logistics or the public sector advantageous
• motivated for progression within a growing practice
