Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of contentious construction matters
- Draft and negotiate JCT, NEC, FIDIC, and bespoke contracts
- Advise on procurement strategies, risk management, and regulatory compliance
- Represent clients in adjudications, arbitrations, mediations, and TCC litigation
- Collaborate with real estate, banking, corporate, and dispute resolution teams
- Conduct legal research and manage case documentation
- Support business development and client relationship initiatives
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal training
Key requirements
- 4+ years PQE in construction law (UK-based)
- Strong experience in contentious construction matters
- Solid understanding of JCT, NEC, FIDIC contracts
- Exposure to adjudication, arbitration, mediation, and TCC litigation
- Commercial awareness and pragmatic legal advice
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
