Senior Project Manager – construction of data centres

Overview

In this role you will lead the delivery of data centre construction and fit-out projects in Central London, overseeing MEP works alongside the core build. You will work with cross-functional teams and clients to drive on-time, on-budget project outcomes. You’ll head meetings, manage stakeholders, and ensure quality across all construction stages. Responsibilities

• Manage construction and fit-out of data centres, including MEP scopes (air conditioning, ventilation, electrical works).
• Oversee delivery across all construction stages from planning to handover.
• Lead client meetings and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams on-site, primarily in Central London.
• Utilise MS Office and MS Project for planning, scheduling, and reporting.

Key requirements

• BSc in Building Services Engineering (or MSc); MCIBSE qualification is a plus.
• Experience as an MEP Engineer or in a construction/engineering consultancy or with an MEP contractor.
• Background in data centre construction and fit-out preferred.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills; confident in leading meetings.
• Experience across all stages of construction project management; proficient with MS Project.
