Construction Solicitor (1-3 PQE) – Bristol

Overview

In this role you join a top-tier national construction team focused on non-contentious work across education, housing, health, regeneration, and major projects. You will draft and negotiate across JCT, NEC, and bespoke documents while supporting high-value schemes such as hospitals, university estates, and regeneration programmes. Responsibilities

• Service a broad range of non-contentious construction matters for high-profile clients
• Draft and negotiate construction contracts and related documents (JCT, NEC, bespoke)
• Collaborate with partners and senior lawyers on complex projects including hospitals and university estates
• Support sector development and networking to drive business opportunities
• Contribute to a culture of high-quality work and knowledge sharing

Key requirements

• 1-3 years’ PQE
• Experience in non-contentious construction, or mixed construction background with desire to specialise
• Strong drafting and analytical skills
• Interest in networking and business development
• Proactive, commercially minded approach and ambition to become a sector specialist
