Overview
In this role you join a top-tier Professional Indemnity team to handle construction-related PI disputes for insurers and insured professionals. You will manage matters from start to finish, advise on coverage issues, and help grow the Insurance Disputes practice while supervising junior fee earners. The position offers high-value, complex litigation exposure within a collaborative, national firm. You’ll work closely with partners to deliver strategic, client-focused solutions.

Responsibilities
- Defend construction professionals in complex, high-value PI claims
- Advise insurers on construction-related coverage matters
- Manage matters from inception to resolution
- Supervise and support junior fee earners
- Develop strong client relationships and contribute to practice growth
- Collaborate with Partners and wider team on disputes strategy
Key requirements
- 8+ years’ PQE
- substantial experience in professional indemnity and/or commercial litigation
- track record of managing complex, high-value claims
- excellent drafting, technical and analytical skills
- strong commercial awareness and judgement
- excellent client communication and relationship skills
- ability to work independently and collaboratively
- supervising junior lawyers is advantageous
