Overview

As Head of Façade Engineering, you will lead the technical delivery of complex façade projects and shape the direction of a growing multidisciplinary consultancy. You will mentor engineers, build strong client relationships, and drive business development to expand market presence. You’ll oversee design through construction and ensure compliant, high‑quality façade solutions. This role offers strategic impact, leadership responsibility, and the chance to influence how the service scales. Your work will fuse technical excellence with growth and collaboration across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead façade projects through design and construction stages (RIBA Stage 1–7).
• Act as technical lead, ensuring QA and engineering standards.

Key requirements

• 5–10 years experience in façade engineering consultancy
• Track record delivering complex projects across design and construction
• Experience reviewing technical work and mentoring engineers
• Excellent client-facing and project management skills
• Understanding of façade performance, compliance and building safety regulations
• Chartered status or actively pursuing chartership
