HSE Manager

Overview

As HSE Manager, lead a team of safety and environmental specialists to embed a proactive safety culture. Influence strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement across HSE performance for our Mission Technologies business. You will advise managers, oversee audits and investigations, and build relationships with regulators and stakeholders. This role offers development within a global engineering organisation focused on national security and defence capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of HSE Advisors
• Provide expert guidance on health, safety and environmental matters
• Drive continuous improvement in compliance, safety and environmental standards
• Conduct and oversee audits, inspections, incident investigations and risk reduction
• Build relationships with stakeholders, regulators and industry bodies

Key requirements

• Senior HSE/EHS experience
• Experience leading HSE/EHS teams
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation and compliance
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive safety and environmental improvements
• Security clearance eligibility (SC) and Sole British National with potential for DV
• NEEBOSh level 5 or equivalent
