Associate Analyst – Supply Chain

Overview

As an Associate Analyst in Supply Chain, you will analyze data to improve operations, applying statistical methods to forecast costs, demand, and capacity. You work with cross‑functional teams to align supplier strategies, pricing, and inventory with customer goals. The role supports supplier performance, RFQ processes, and cost‑efficient material availability. You’ll develop insights that drive efficiency and lower total ownership costs in a dynamic distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data to optimize supply chain operations and reduce costs
• Support supplier strategy communication and alliance management
• Assist with supplier performance monitoring and corrective actions
• Prepare and review RFQ blankets and align blankets with inventory strategies
• Determine inventory and pricing strategies based on material demand and lead times
• Update purchasing database with pricing and lead times

Key requirements

• Associate’s degree in supply chain management or administration
• Up to 2 years related experience in supply chain (preferred)
• Strong analytical and data mining skills
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
• Basic MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
• Ability to work under time constraints and across functions
• Team-oriented and self-motivated
• Ability to work with ambiguity
