Project Manager

Overview

As Project Manager in our Infrastructure team, you will oversee projects across rail, aviation, civil engineering and Environment Agency schemes. You’ll operate within a large consultancy’s backing while enjoying a collaborative, close-knit team environment and direct exposure to senior stakeholders. You will manage varied infrastructure assignments from planning through delivery, growing your technical, commercial and client-facing capabilities. This role offers genuine ownership and a clear path to progression within a growing practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage infrastructure projects and support major programmes delivery
• Own smaller projects and ensure on-time, on-objective delivery
• Coordinate project teams, track progress and milestones
• Develop and maintain project management plans, programmes and reporting
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders
• Identify risks, manage change and support informed decision-making
• Collaborate with senior colleagues to broaden experience on complex projects

Key requirements

• Previous construction project management experience within a consultancy
• Exposure to infrastructure sectors (rail, aviation, civil engineering, Environment Agency)
• Experience managing projects and developing client relationships
• Understanding of NEC contracts
• Knowledge of project programming, planning and reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and MS Office
• Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in design management, client-side delivery or major infrastructure programmes beneficial
