Overview

In this Audit Senior role, you support a reputable firm in delivering value-driven audits for a diverse client base. You’ll work within the Assurance and Advisory Group to identify risks and growth opportunities, and to support clients and managers with timely delivery. You will prepare accounts and tax computations, mentor junior staff, and nurture client relationships while staying up-to-date with professional standards. Responsibilities

• Assist in executing regulatory and statutory audits
• Identify risks and opportunities for growth and performance improvements
• Prepare accounts and corporate tax computations
• Provide premium audit support to Managers and Senior team members
• Manage and develop client relationships, expanding connections
• Communicate timelines and deliverables proactively to Managers
• Participate in ad-hoc advisory assignments for clients
• Stay updated with professional standards through training and development

Key requirements

• ACA or ACCA-qualified
• Relevant audit and accounts experience in an accountancy practice
• Strong knowledge of audit methodologies and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in audit and accounting software
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Confidence in delegating, reviewing work, and mentoring junior staff
• Proactive, client-focused approach with experience in direct client contact
