Overview

In Belfast, join a well-regarded litigation practice as a claimant Personal Injury solicitor. You will manage a busy PI caseload across road traffic, workplace, public liability and serious injury matters, contributing to a trusted client-centered service. You’ll balance strong technical ability with clear, empathetic communication to keep clients informed at every stage. This role offers the opportunity to work within a focused claimant team and support the firm’s commitment to impactful, accessible personal injury cases. You will be part of a respected NI practice that values practical, compassionate advocacy and client outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage claimant Personal Injury caseload across RTA, cycling/motorcycle, workplace accidents, industrial hearing loss, public liability, holiday injuries and serious injuries
• Provide high-quality legal advice and advocacy for PI claims
• Maintain clear, empathetic communication with clients and keep them informed throughout the process
• Draft, review and negotiate settlements; handle court proceedings where appropriate
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure compliant, efficient case progression
• Contribute to business development and referral relationships within the NI market

Key requirements

• 1–5 PQE in personal injury
• Ideally claimant-side experience
• NI qualification or E&W/ROI qualification with a view to practising in NI
• Clear, empathetic communication
