Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Part-Time Cleaner to work at commercial premises on an industrial estate in Hersham.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a long-term, part-time cleaning position, offering an excellent hourly rate of £17.50 and the opportunity to transfer to permanent employment following a successful initial temporary assignment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the premises and must be comfortable working independently.

Key Responsibilities

• General cleaning of offices, workspaces and communal areas.
• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors.
• Cleaning desks, counters and frequently touched surfaces.
• Cleaning and sanitising toilets and washroom facilities.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Following site cleaning procedures and health and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Basic DBS check required.
• Adverse Financial/Credit Check required.
• Two years’ employment history required.
• Proof of Right to Work in the UK.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Comfortable using a telephone-based clocking-in system.
• Good attention to detail and a professional attitude.
