Assistant Crane Operator (Permanent / Nationality Restricted)

Our client, a global leader in offshore drilling, is currently hiring Assistant Crane Operators across their fleet of 7th generation drillships.

These are permanent positions and the successful candidates must be available to mobilise in the coming month to commence equal time rotations.

In order to be considered, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Due to restrictions placed on work permits and travel costs, we are only able to consider Indonesian or Malaysian applicants.
• At least two years’ operational experience in this role on-board a MODU (semi-submersible or drillship) within the past five years.
• Demonstrable experience in the operation of NOV Knuckleboom Lifting Equipment.

In addition, candidates must already be in possession of the following training:

• Offshore Crane Operator – Stage 2 minimum – Stage 3 would be highly advantageous.
• OPITO Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training (BOSIET) or Further Offshore Emergency Training (FOET).
• Medical Certificate of Fitness for Offshore Work – OGUK or STCW.
