Interim Junior Legal Counsel (NQ-1 PQE)

Immediate Start | 3-Month Contract | Remote / London

I’m working with a global business seeking a Junior Legal Counsel (NQ-1 PQE) to join its legal team on an initial 3-month contract, with the potential for extension.

This is a broad in-house opportunity offering exposure to commercial contracts, privacy, compliance, and legal operations work within an international environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements, including NDAs, data processing agreements, and supplier contracts.
• Supporting the business on day-to-day contractual matters and risk assessments.
• Assisting with privacy and data protection projects.
• Supporting compliance and sanctions-related processes.
• Liaising with stakeholders across multiple business functions.
• Assisting with legal operations and process improvement initiatives.

About you:

• Qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with NQ-1 year’s PQE.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• A proactive and practical approach to problem-solving.

The role:

• Immediate start required.
• Initial 3-month contract, with scope to extend.
• Remote working available, with flexibility on location within the UK.
• Attendance in London required for onboarding and equipment collection at the start of the assignment.
