Job Description

• Coordinate daily transactional finance work to keep tasks accurate, timely and well organised.
• Review finance records and queries, resolving issues or escalating them where needed.
• Maintain clear process records to support consistent ways of working across the department.
• Monitor outstanding tasks and priorities, helping the team meet agreed deadlines.
• Work with colleagues across the business to gather information and address transaction-related queries.
• Prepare clear updates on transactional activity for relevant stakeholders.
• Identify practical improvements to finance processes that reduce errors and improve efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful ‘Transactional Finance Manager’ should have:

• Experience managing transactional finance activities in a busy finance function.
• A sound understanding of accurate financial record keeping and transaction processing.
• The ability to review information carefully and resolve queries in a timely way.
• Experience prioritising workloads and keeping finance tasks on track.
• Confidence working with colleagues to gather information and provide clear updates.
• A practical approach to improving finance processes and reducing avoidable errors.
