Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be working with an established and growing business to recruit a Part-Time Finance Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to take ownership of the finance function, working closely with the Directors and contributing to the wider strategic development of the business. Alongside overseeing the day-to-day finance operations, you will have the opportunity to drive improvements across systems, reporting and business processes, while also supporting elements of HR and people management.
The Role
Oversee the day-to-day finance function and support a small finance team.
Prepare management accounts, group reporting, budgets and forecasts.
Manage year-end processes, cash flow, financial controls and compliance.
Provide commercial insight and financial guidance to the Directors.
Support HR processes and wider people-related activities.
Improve financial reporting, KPIs, systems and internal processes.
Explore opportunities to introduce technology, automation and AI to improve efficiency.
The Person
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with strong post-qualification experience.
Previous experience leading, managing or developing a finance team.
Strong technical accounting and group reporting knowledge.
Commercially minded with the ability to influence business decisions.
A proactive approach to improving processes and driving efficiencies.
An interest in technology, automation and the use of AI within finance.
