Senior Site Manager

Senior Site Manager taking a residential development from start to finish for Saffron Housing Trust, with day-to-day control of site operations. Suits a candidate with volume housebuilding experience who knows NHBC requirements and can lead site teams. Candidates need SMSTS, a CSCS card, first aid certification and a full UK driving licence, and a Basic DBS check applies.

What the job involves

• Run day-to-day management of a residential development to high standards of health, safety, quality and site presentation
• Own build programmes and budgets, driving work to production targets and delivery deadlines
• Manage and motivate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers so work is safe, efficient and to specification
• Coordinate site operations, resources, materials and labour to deliver high build quality and customer satisfaction
• Ensure compliance with planning requirements, building regulations, NHBC standards and company policies
• Carry out inspections, oversee plot handovers and deliver finished homes to customers

Qualifications

• SMSTS certification
• First aid certification

Registration & licences

• Valid CSCS card

Experience

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager in a volume housebuilding environment

Skills & knowledge

• Strong leadership, able to inspire, develop and manage high-performing teams
• Excellent planning, organisation, communication and problem-solving
• Good understanding of construction processes and build sequencing
• Good understanding of health and safety legislation and NHBC requirements
