The OpportunityThis role supports the delivery, running and ongoing improvement of CRM, customer data, customer service and customer engagement platforms, keeping engineering standards, data governance and platform security tight.You’ll work with business stakeholders, architects, product owners and engineering teams to design, build and support CRM solutions, integrations and automations that improve the customer experience and give the business a single Customer 360 view. You’ll own scalable Salesforce solutions, connect enterprise platforms through APIs and event-driven architecture, support Salesforce Data Cloud work, and keep the whole CRM ecosystem reliable and evolving.What You Will Be DoingDesigning, building and maintaining CRM solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud and Data CloudConfiguring and customising Salesforce using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, Validation Rules, process automation and Custom MetadataBuilding scalable integrations between Salesforce and other platforms (Informatica, ERP, MDM, marketing automation, eCommerce, customer support and data platforms) using REST, SOAP, Platform Events and middlewareSupporting Informatica Customer 360 and master data management initiativesDeveloping reports, dashboards, KPIs and analytical solutionsUnit testing, deployment and supportWorking closely with business analysts and Salesforce administratorsMaking sure everything meets Salesforce best practice for security and complianceMonitoring, troubleshooting and tuning the platform in production for data quality, performance and reliabilityWriting technical documentation and supporting deploymentsUsing modern engineering practices: version control, automated build/test/deploy pipelines, quality gates and controlled promotion across environmentsWorking with Principal Software Engineers, Solution Architects, Product Owners and business SMEs on key design decisions, so solutions are scalable, resilient and consistent across the businessWhat You’ll BringEssentialSalesforce Developer Certification (PD2)Proven experience designing, building and supporting Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud and Data CloudStrong Salesforce development skills, including Apex, LWC, Flows, SOQL/SOSL and platform automationExperience delivering Data Cloud, CDP and MDM solutions, including Customer 360 use casesStrong experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise systems using APIs, event-driven architecture and data integration toolingGood understanding of SQL, data modelling, data warehousing and ETL/ELT conceptsProficiency in JavaScript, Apex, Java or PythonSolid grasp of Salesforce security, governance, data privacy and GDPRExperience with CI/CD, source control, automated testing and release management (GitHub, GitLab or Copado)Knowledge of Agile, Scrum and DevOps ways of workingStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skillsDesirableExperience with Informatica, Snowflake, Data 360, Treasure Data or similar enterprise data platformsExperience with event-driven and streaming integration architecturesDegree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related disciplineThe PackageMarket-competitive base salary, a share in a company-wide incentive scheme, and a benefits package that includes pension, life assurance, private medical, health screening, critical illness and disability cover, employee assistance programme, discounted gym membership, cycle to work and retail discounts.
