Interim Estates Surveyor – Lincolnshire

£450-£500 per day | Hybrid Working

• Location: Lincolnshire
• Contract: 3 month rolling contract
• Rate: £450-£500 per day
• Working Pattern: 1-2 days per week in the office

I’m currently supporting a Local Authority in Lincolnshire looking to appoint an experienced Interim Estates Surveyor to provide additional capacity within its Property and Estates team.

This is a varied General Practice position, working across a predominantly commercial property portfolio, with a particular focus on property disposals and asset management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and progressing property disposals, from initial appraisal through to completion.
• Identifying surplus assets and supporting the delivery of the Council’s disposal programme.
• Preparing disposal recommendations, property reports and supporting documentation.
• Managing landlord and tenant matters, including rent reviews, lease renewals and negotiations.
• Supporting the management and optimisation of the Council’s commercial property portfolio.
• Undertaking property inspections, valuations and general estates activities.
• Liaising with legal teams, agents, internal stakeholders and external parties to progress transactions.
• Providing professional property advice to support wider estates and asset management objectives.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong General Practice Estates Surveying experience, ideally within Local Government.
• Demonstrable experience in property disposals and commercial asset management.
• Good knowledge of landlord and tenant matters.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and work independently.
• MRICS qualification desirable.
