The role

Our client, a leading global consultancy, needs an experienced AI Architect /Engineer for its AI & Data practice. You will design and deliver Gen AI solutions for clients in energy, resources and industrials, working with data scientists, engineers and client teams.

What you’ll do

• Design end-to-end Gen AI architectures that fit client business goals and existing systems
• Advise clients on where Gen AI can add value and build roadmaps to get there
• Assess current systems and recommend target architectures and platforms (including build vs. buy)
• Run discovery and design workshops with business and technical stakeholders
• Present designs to senior stakeholders and architecture boards
• Own workstreams and support delivery, mentoring junior team members

What you’ll need

• Strong Gen AI, AI or enterprise architecture experience, ideally in consulting
• Knowledge of the energy, resources or industrials sector
• Hands-on experience with several of the following: LLM integration and deployment, prompt engineering, RAG and vector databases, AI governance and ethics, ModelOps/MLOps, cloud infrastructure and security for AI
• Experience with at least one major cloud (Azure, AWS or GCP)
• Confident with senior stakeholders and able to explain technical ideas in plain terms
