Estimator – Main Contractor

Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for a range of construction projects.Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation to establish project requirements.Obtaining, reviewing and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations.Assessing project costs, identifying potential risks and highlighting opportunities for cost savings.Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams throughout the tender process.Ensuring all estimates are commercially competitive, accurate and submitted within agreed deadlines.Supporting the wider team in delivering successful tender submissions.About You
Proven experience in an Estimator role within the construction industry.Experience working for a main contractor would be highly advantageous.A strong understanding of construction methods, materials and associated costs.Excellent numerical, analytical and organisational skills.Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate estimates.Confident communication and negotiation skills when dealing with subcontractors and suppliers.The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively to deadlines.What’s on Offer?
