Group Finance Manager
to support a large international software business on an initial
3-month contract .This is a key year-end role, taking ownership of the Group external audit and statutory reporting process through to submission of the financial accounts at the end of January.The organisation has a turnover of approximately
£500m , with entities across the
UK, North America and APAC , so the successful candidate will need strong experience consolidating statutory accounts across a complex international group.Key ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of the year-end financial accounts project through to completion and submissionLead and coordinate the Group external audit processConsolidate statutory accounts across UK, North American and APAC entitiesAct as the primary day-to-day contact for external auditors and internal stakeholdersPrepare and review consolidated Group and UK subsidiary statutory accountsSupport year-end adjustments, disclosures and audit deliverablesPrepare technical accounting and audit papers, including:IFRS 15 / revenue recognitionImpairment reviewsGoing concern assessmentsCoordinate input from finance, tax and overseas subsidiary teamsWork closely with the wider Group Finance team to resolve audit queries and ensure deadlines are metTake a hands-on approach where required, combining project ownership with detailed accounting workEssential ExperienceFully qualified accountant –
ACA, ACCA or equivalentStrong experience leading or project managing
Group external auditsExperience preparing and consolidating
statutory accounts for an international groupStrong technical accounting knowledge under
IFRSGood working knowledge of
IFRS 15 and complex revenue recognitionExperience working within a
software, SaaS or similarly contract-driven businessStrong stakeholder management skills, including working directly with external auditorsComfortable working in a hands-on role within a busy year-end environmentThis is a senior, delivery-focused contract requiring someone who can quickly take ownership of the audit and year-end reporting process and work effectively across a complex international structure.
