We run the infrastructure for everything we ship. Not a managed Vercel/Heroku shop — we run Coolify on bare-metal Hetzner, with Docker Compose, Caddy, Postgres, MariaDB, SQLite, Nextcloud, and a growing count of client workloads. This role owns that machinery.

Our codebases are polyglot (Python, TypeScript, Elixir, Rust, C++), so the infrastructure needs to be too — different pipelines, different health checks, different debug surfaces for each.

What you’d do

• Own CI/CD, deploy pipelines, backup strategy, and monitoring across every client workload
• Keep compose files, Caddyfiles, and runbooks readable — infrastructure as documentation
• Harden the stack: secrets rotation, access reviews, incident response, backups actually restored
• Partner with engineering on performance work — profiling in Rust, GC tuning in Elixir, query plans in Postgres

What we’d expect

• 5+ years running production Linux infrastructure
• Deep comfort with Docker, Postgres, and Caddy or Nginx
• Scripting fluency in Bash + at least one of Python / Go / Rust
• Observability instincts — tracing, metrics, structured logs

Nice to have

• Hands-on with Coolify, Dokku, or similar PaaS primitives
• Hardware-adjacent experience (bare-metal provisioning, networking, storage)
• UK GDPR / ISO 27001 context — we handle payment and personal data

How we work

• Remote, UK time zones; on-call shared across the engineering team, not shouldered by one person
• Direct access to the whole engineering stack — this is a seat at the table, not a ticket queue
