OVERVIEW The University of Nottingham is seeking a Director of Student Recruitment to lead home and international recruitment activity across the university. Reporting to the Director of Student Recruitment and Admissions, the role focuses on international growth, development of new markets, and strengthening recruitment partnerships and student engagement activity. Based at Jubilee Campus in nottingham with hybrid working arrangements, this senior director position oversees a large recruitment function including overseas operations in China and India. The role combines strategic leadership, partnership management, and operational oversight within a university environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead home and international recruitment activity for the University of Nottingham UK
- Support international growth initiatives and recruitment strategy
- Develop and expand recruitment in new markets
- Manage agent and channel partner networks
- Oversee the pathway partnership with Kaplan
- Maintain and develop international sponsor relations
- Oversee a team of 50 colleagues
- Manage overseas offices in China and India
- Report to the Director of Student Recruitment and Admissions
Requirements
- Experience leading recruitment activity within a university environment
- Ability to oversee international recruitment operations
- Experience managing teams and overseas offices
- Knowledge of admissions and student recruitment functions
