Security Clearance

• Must be eligible and willing to achieve DV clearance
• Candidates already holding SC or DV are particularly welcome

Location

• Romsey, Hampshire, set in the countryside close to the New Forest and the south coast
• Gloucester
• Ample parking and an on-site gym

Salary

• £55,000- £85,000plus performance-related bonus

The Role

• Design, simulate, synthesise and implement digital logic circuits on FPGA
• Develop, simulate and optimise real-time DSP algorithms (FIR/IIR filters, FFTs, I/Q demodulation, mixers)
• Create and manage high-speed digital interfaces (ADC, DAC, PCIe)
• Work with embedded software, PCB design and systems engineering teams to integrate firmware into the final product
• Validate designs in the lab using oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers and signal generators

Essential Experience

• Proven FPGA design experience (VHDL or Verilog)
• Proven DSP algorithm implementation experience
• Strong command of MATLAB and Simulink
• Embedded C/C++ or Python for testing, automation and processor-based interaction
• Understanding of digital communication theory and RF principles
