Investment Banking Associate, Technology

Metis Search are working with a specialist boutique investment bank in London to appoint an Associate to its Technology M&A team.

The firm specialises in the Technology sector, advising a diverse range of clients across multiple verticals. Operating within a lean team, the role offers significant responsibility, good exposure across the full deal lifecycle and direct exposure to senior bankers and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the execution of M&A transactions across a range of Technology verticals.
• Build financial models, valuations and transaction analyses.
• Prepare client presentations and marketing materials.
• Conduct industry, company and market analysis across Technology subsectors.
• Work closely with senior bankers, clients and external advisers.

Key Requirements:

• Approximately 3-6 years’ M&A experience, ideally within Technology.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.
• Experience supporting live transactions across the deal lifecycle.
• Strong analytical skills and commercial judgement.
• Proactive, ambitious and comfortable taking ownership within a lean team.
