Thisisabroadcommercialroleofferingexposuretoawidevarietyofmattersacrossthebusiness.YouwillsupportbothB2BandB2Cactivities,withapproximately80-85%oftheworkfocusedonsophisticatedB2Bcommercialarrangementsandtheremaindersupportingasmallerconsumer-facingbusiness.

• Keyresponsibilitieswillinclude:
• AdvisingoncommercialcontractsacrosstheSugarandAnimalNutritiondivisions
• Supportinglarge-scaleB2Bsalesagreementswithmajorcustomers,includinghousehold-namemultinationalbusinesses
• Handlingprocurementmatters,includingITagreements,outsourcingarrangementsandcommodities-relatedcontracts
• Assistingwithcapitalexpendituretransactionsrelatingtotheacquisitionofequipmentandinfrastructureformanufacturingfacilities
• WorkingonAI-relatedinitiatives,includingplaybooksandlegalguidancematerials
• Managingday-to-daycommerciallegalissuesarisingacrossthebusiness
• SupportingthepetsupplementsbusinessionarangeofFMCGandconsumer-focusedlegalmatters
• Liaisingwithexternallawfirmsonsignificantdisputesthatareoutsourced
• Buildingstrongrelationshipswithstakeholdersacrossmultiplefunctionsanddivisions

• Commercialcontractsexperiencegainedin-houseorinprivatepractice
• ConfidenceadvisingonbothB2BandB2Cmatters
• Experiencesupportingsophisticatedcommercialcustomersandstakeholders
• Knowledgeofprocurement,outsourcingandtechnologycontracts
• Abilitytomanageavariedworkloadwithminimalsupervision
• Comfortableoperatinginabusiness-facingenvironmentandbuildingstrongstakeholderrelationships
• Minimum3-7years’PQE,althoughtheteamisveryopentoconsideringmoreseniorlawyers

Fulltime,hybridwith1to3daysperweekinLondon.OccasionalUKtravelmayberequired.
