Finance AI & Agentic ERP Senior Manager

Overview

In this role you lead the design and delivery of agentic AI-enabled ERP transformations for finance, working with CFOs and platform leaders to shape governance, control, and production-ready AI in the ledger. You will own the end-to-end delivery from discovery to run, building a credible point of view and an offering that integrates AI into core finance processes. You will influence client teams, define the architecture, and ensure auditability and reconciliation requirements are met while driving business value. This is a front-edge, client-facing role in a growing practice that blends finance expertise with AI-enabled platform transformations.

Responsibilities

• Design agentic workflows for finance processes, defining what runs autonomously vs by exception
• Govern governance, traceability, and controls to ensure auditability and production readiness
• Lead end-to-end delivery from discovery through deployment and run
• Build and present client propositions, run workshops, and demonstrate proofs of concept
• Lead senior client forums and design authorities to maintain coherence of the solution
• Shape the finance design authority and coordinate cross-functional workstreams (functional, technical, data, change)
• Develop and articulate a finance-focused AI point of view and publish thought leadership
• Drive relationships with finance and technology leaders to win and deliver large-scale transformations

Key requirements

• 10+ years in senior finance transformation roles
• Extensive AI experience within ERP transformations and architecture
• Hands-on knowledge of copilots, agent runtimes, and platform services in ERP AI
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance, Oracle Cloud ERP or comparable platforms
• Ability to discuss journal entries and related controls with CFOs/controllers
• Proven client-facing consulting capabilities and stakeholder management
• Commercial instinct and sound judgment under pressure
• Understanding of end-to-end finance processes and integration across modules
• Experience with platform, cloud, or AI certifications and accounting qualifications (ACA or equivalent)
